Welcome Emma Wong as our 1st shop sponsored paddler!

Emma started paddling at the age of 12 when she joined the Ocean Racing Academy in Comox, BC, coached by Stuart Robinson.  She regularly competes at BC SUP Cup races and travels to the Columbia River every summer for Gorge Downwind Champs or the Gorge Paddle Challenge.  Emma also enjoys surfing and skiing, and follows Sports Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development model that is administered through the Junior Race Program at Strathcona Nordic Ski Club for training.  Her favorite all around race board is the ONE Edge 2.0, and her paddle of choice is the Salish made by Blackfish. Emma will graduate from Mark R. Isfeld in 2020.
